the VST plugin analyser shows that's something... "funky" with the MQ5 (the one at top) eq

Otherwise, I don't get why there is not any preset provided called "bass push/pull trick"

i think there's something wrong with the midrange EQ. turning it on adds some sort of low-mid noise. moving low-mid peak around results in varying results, resetting the knob brings the noise back. there seems to be some sort of bug there.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Thanks for the report.Burillo wrote:i think there's something wrong with the midrange EQ. turning it on adds some sort of low-mid noise. moving low-mid peak around results in varying results, resetting the knob brings the noise back. there seems to be some sort of bug there.
Can you explain what you mean with low-mid noise? A more detailed explanation of the settings you're using when you hear the problem would help (if you could export a bank with the "faulty" setting and send it to me via PM or through info<at>igniteamps.com, it would be great!)

just run a sine wave through it and look at the analyzer. if MEQ-5 is engaged, you'll see noise around 100-300Hz. turning the low-mid gain knob sometimes removes the noise, resetting the knob brings it back. it's not audible (not for me at least), but it's clearly not supposed to be there. all on default settings.

^ I sort-of reported also
it appears to be something wrong with it.... with all the bands, but only with the top "MQ5" EQ
also noticed that the bells don't keep symmetry when sweeped and when boosting gain and returning to 0, the graph shows that the gain will be freezed to a small about of boost (it resets when touching the freq dials again)

Compared Nomad Factory Pulse-Tec and my own Langevin style solid state Pultec. It's little bit weak.Need more power! Can't feel "boom" with low section. There is no open sound with high.Last thing, mids must have more attack.Filter is great!I was looking for something like this.
But!
Just my thoughts...Pultec is variable gear.Lots of model and lots of taste.
Thanks again!

What would be "attack" in regards to an EQ?tunca wrote:mids must have more attack
