I am in the same place a week ago. I went with ACE. What are you thoughts 2 years later?

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

2 years later? I think Bazille is the best synth ever... hardware or software

Agreed. Bazille is one of the finest instruments ever made, virtual or not.

[shameless_feature_request] The only thing that I know that I'd get *huge* benefit from is having another set of oscillators -- either ACE or Diva's would be lovely.[/shameless_feature_request]

When it comes to available soundsets, it's still the most unexplored synth.
Personally, i don't have the specific knowledge to realize what i feel is possible with this one, but my intuition tells me there are amazing undiscovered territories...
(p.s. still waiting for Howard's cookbook)

Your intuition is right... :))

ACE is ace. Chilly, you made the right decision (twoooooo years ago).

(psst... I made the mistake of using a feature or two - throughout the soundset and book! - that will only work in the next Bazille update. So I'm sorry to say that the Cookbook will have to wait until then)

Sad day :( we will have a while yet to wait for the cookbook then it seems as IIRC Bazille is not highly prioritized for a new update.

Damn those sneaky internal builds :D

Nothing overly fancy... right-clicking the Mapping Generator to create a waveform from a spectrum.

:D
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Post

Not bad, Dave! The analogy doesn't quite hold up, though, as the map only contains a recipe while the waveform directly describes the air pressure.

Hmm does that possibly mean we will be able to import a spectrum waveform from say Z2? Please don't spend too much time on this, Bazille it's perfect. :)
If you have an itch to tinker please just build another synth. Keep your hands off Bazille! :scared: :P
