The MS-20 interface would be fine if they just showed the whole window. A scrolling interface is a terrible thing unless you have to (Reaktor blocks for example sometimes).

How do you know that? (That piracy has reduced the resources allocated to the project), and I 'heard' that the moon is made of cheese, does it mean it's true?C.Bennett wrote: Piracy and poor sales have reduced the resources allocated to the project and I hear that the 64-bit versions almost didn't happen.

How dare you infer these two bona fide legends and their story isn't real.basslinemaster wrote:I 'heard' that the moon is made of cheese, does it mean it's true?

One thing is sure, if the moon were made even partly of cheese,
the French would have gone there before building the Eiffel Tower!
Korg have used their Legacy Collection to tempt hardware purchasers for years,
let's hope they respond with both new and improved products,
in hardware and software. Native Instruments wisely robbed them
of using 'K' to any great creative effect in naming things,
a kompletely genious strategy...still Korg press on,
and release the Kross and Taktile, both quite tempting and affordable.
A Kross/Triton softsynth would sell nicely, given a modern gui.

Yes, that'd be great. If they throw in some new features into the synths, I'd even pay for the upgradelayzer wrote:i just started playing with korg's mono/poly synth again in depth... holy crap this thing sounds great!

I'd even pay for a bigger UI. Korg Mono/Poly truly rocks. I'd not often you find old plugs that stand the test of time.stardustmedia wrote:Yes, that'd be great. I love M1 and especially Wavestation!
How hard could it possibly be to make larger GUIs!? I would certainly pay a fair amount for larger (and more intuitive) interfaces for these masterful plugins! If Korg won't do it, is it possible such a feat could be achieved by a third party? I suppose not, but this is such a crying shame, because these are top-notch synths with miles of utility, even after all this time!
Maybe if we send Korg a petition with ONE THOUSAND names (Dr. Evil) they would have to succumb to the intense pressure! OK, well, how about ONE HUNDRED names. I'm sure we could get TWENTY-FIVE !!! Or maybe create a fund to help offset the amazing cost to simply make the GUIs larger! OK, I'll do it for FREE!!! If I just knew how...
I mean, they actually have SALES on the Legacy Bundle, which means someone, somewhere sees this as a tiny money-maker - or why would they bother!? (I don't personally believe they use the KLC to boost hardware sales). IMO you could double the price or more, if you would just make the GUIs legible!!!
Just dreaming out-loud... But Korg - PLEASE!

It is possible by a third party if the controls are all registered for automation, it would just need to be wrapped, there was a utility that did this a long time ago (http://www.asseca.org/mgui/index.html) but it is windows only and massively out of date

It could be wrapped as .exe by MAX/msp,
if the relevant parameter are automatable-
not as VST though sorry
edit: If anyone can be bothered- a functional UI and wrap could be done in PureData,
but I think UI is really basic
