How did you set the buffer size? Can you see if this happens on v1.0.1 as well?
v1.0.1 has fixed the oversampling issue.
But there is now some really screwed up buzzing noise when the tube is engaged.

And the oversampling is set to 2X, right? With the tube engaged and oversampling off, all fine...

I still can't replicate the damn issue, I've tried something like 6 different DAWs on 2 different machines, Windows/OSX, played around with buffer sizes, sampling rates, etc. and everything is still working fine.

Yes only with oversampling on, and only in the topmost module.

Sorry? Is it somehow related to the MQ5 module? I thought it was related to the tube switch/oversampling selector, not on the equalizers... can you explain, please? I'm trying to gather as much as possible to isolate the bug

Post

Its possibile add the change of routing of the 3 modules?
For example: I usually filter before sculpt a sound...

If the MQ5 module was switched off, the problem disappeared (tubes, oversampling on).

Stupid question but can the plug initiate itself in stereo (or make it a preference) ?
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

If you use Reaper you can make a default preset in the upper right corner of the plugin GUI tools.

But why ?

If it were guitar amp... I understand. but an EQ ?...

I find that the buzzing happens regardless of which modules are switched on (in Logic 10.2.1).

I loaded the VST version using MetaPlugin and the problem was still present.

This is definitely worth considering, thanks for the input.
What do you guys think? Should I make it stereo by default? It's a trivial update, so I can incorporate it on the next one, now that hopefully the oversampling issue seems solved, but I'd like to hear more opinions on the matter.

(sorry but implementing a preference system is out of question for this update, as I plan to release 1.0.2 in one or two days)

+1 for stereo by default.

@Wild Hades: Does the oversampling only work on the tube stage? I've noticed that it has no effect on the phase response of the filters. The phase cramps near nyquist.

Best,
