I finally got around to finishing Part 2 of the surround sound tutorial:

Group tracks make the whole process much more fun and easier to set up...
Example file is available, just make sure you route the outputs to your speakers correctly.
Cheers,
Tom

I finally created the Surround Panner I always wanted in Bitwig Studio with Reaktor 6:

It makes life much easier, since this one tool does all the panning, the automatic motion and the multiouts in one easy to use package instead of needing a dozen devices.
Download it here:

An instagram post from producer_rain inspired me to do this 11band spectrum analyzer-preset. Nothing scientific here but you get a nice big analyzer in the mixer view:
Cool thing is that it also allows some cool manipulations if you want so. Turn a macro down to get the (coloured not neutral) sound of the split bands - then you can manipulate the volume of or mute indiviual bands. I also preassigned some example macros that cut out certain frequency ranges. (also explained in the preset description)
[EDIT:]here a mashup: I added an LFO on every band modulating the volume, all 11 LFOs at different phases. One 'Rate' macro to control the LFO rates of all 11 LFOs -> Crazy filter movements!
