I want to monitor my external synth while recording or during playback. It is connected to Traction's audioIn. My soundcard features FullDuplex with one stereo input and one stereo output. I tried the end-to-end feature (track and transport enabled) but this doesn't seem to work in this context. With plugins (effects, softsynths etc.) this is possible, however I wonder if external audio can be monitored as well????
Is there any solution known? If so, which are the settings?

there are two e-e options, both of which should be enabled.
One is by the play button at the bottom right of the screen
the ther is part of the input device's properties. Select the input device you are recoridng through, and you'll see it.
Now place fx on a track, point the input at it, and you should be good to go.

i don't know what I did wrong yesterday, maybe it was to late. Now it works as I exspected.
