Should actually be learning for an exam but you brought me to an idea that seems to work which resulted in a quick preset for Bitwig Studio: Didn't know that I could ever use that knowledge from my studiesjustin3am wrote:Yes, any number of things would be easier. It turns out my idea didn't work anyway... but now I'm taking it as a challenge. I want to see if there is a way to encode a DC signal with the modules within Bazille, in a way that can be decoded with simple tools. No real practical reason to do so but it could be a fun exercise.
In general inside Bazille I multiply the mod source CV signal with a sine wave and cable that to the output. After bazille I place a lowpass filter and do some gain and amplitude adjustments. So after that I can now place and Audio Mod device ("Env Follow" turned off to get the audio rate signal) an control something with it (like pitch of a Polysynth).
Best thing: it works with bipolar material. Maybe some of the adjustments could be finetuned a bit more.
(Tip: turn off the filter to get some crazy results
