Not only with drummaschine but also fx-layers, specially when "diving" in or out the devices.
Push-1 hangs on a displayscreen or bitwig just crashes.
Cant really get my finger on it... test further to hopefully get a more sensible comment.
Edit: with fxlayers its bingo everytime. So if you can try load up a empty project, and just put a fxlayer on a track with 2 layers in it. And one of them a VST in that layer? And go into that layer or and go out. Most of the time it happens first try.

First FX layer:
Make fxlayer... put 2 native BWS fx in it.
Dive in... and overhere i cant select the fx with the buttons on the push-1.
You can select them with mouse and you,ll see them get selected aswell on push screen.
But then select a fx->dive into it-> and dive
out. BOEM crash.(most often it happens right away, sometimes after a couple of times selecting it and dive in and out)
Sometimes it looks like it doesnt "catch" back the fx in it or something.
But when it doesn,t happen .... add a 3rd native FX in it and dive in, and again out, it happens right away for sure.
Before this 1.3.8 update my push screen just freezes, what doesn,t happen anymore with this update.
But it doesnt let me go out the fx. (before i couldnt get in
)
Drumlayers:
When auto select drums , set to: channel.... (beautiful update btw!
)
Also....
it doesn,t happens everytime.
But when i drop a breakbeat on a pad and copy them to other pads, to break it into sections.
And when i dive into a pad, and THEN slap another pad (without getting out) it selects another pad. (what it mostly does and your back to the top layer of that pad)
But sometimes it loses focus or something, and it doesnt gets out of the a pad, but you can go to TRACK and select tracks,or clips in SESSION, but when coming back to the drummaschine with the problem,
And dive in and out it crashes BWS.
Or when you stay on that drummaschine and you force to get out with the arrow buttons it crashes also.
I hope im clear enough , because i cant get my finger behind it. But when doing this, and go in and out a couple of time it freezes for sure at some point.
I send 2 crashreports to headquarters 1 of fx-layers and 1 of the Drummaschine, with these steps.
So i hope they can see something in there?
But for this .8rc1 update they fiddled around with this problem (because i send them crashreports ) , but it manifests in a different way now.
One day it will be smooth!

Hi moss!
I was opening some of those script code file things. (dont know how you called them) Out of curiousity.
And then i stumbled into a file called : colors and colors 2. And couldnt resist myself to open it.
And there it was... a line that made me so happy! It was like i discovered an another world.
It was this one:
AbstractSessionView.CLIP_COLOR_IS_PLAYING = { color: PUSH_COLOR2_WHITE, blink: PUSH_COLOR2_WHITE, fast: false };
As you can see i changed it to white. Because i use green alot in my color coding for clips,
And to my surprise it worked!
And now im looking for the yellow color when in drum mode. (16 yellow pads)
Is there a way i can find them, and change them? (i looked in almost every file but couldnt find it)
And im no coder what so ever, so i was just looking for the keywords: yellow,drum modes.
But..........
nothing.
And if so??? I want to change it in the color of the pic, but thats the other question, wich color is that?
And then again.... What a tremendous piece of art you guys made. Incredible

That color you are pointing to is in AbstractTrackBankProxy, all Bitwig colors are that color.
And I would guess it's Silver, pretty sure it is.

DrumView.prototype.getPadColor() those colors will change what you want around line 228

EDIT I have to admit I didn't answer your question because you want a Bitwig color. It has been a while since I have done anything with the Push so I can't remember how to set the pad a Bitiwg color, in the getPadCOlor() it's using constants.
If moss hasn't replied with an answer, which I am sure he will I will wipe the dust off and get one for you.

i cant remember if i was able to select FX on a group track?Diving in a group gives of course the tracks. But to my knowledge when pressing device you saw all the devices on the group??
