I see they are sellling Komplete 10 half price now - would this perhaps be an indication on that Komplete 11 is near?

I'm on Komplete 6 and considering the same, but I'd really like Kontakt 6 and if that's included in 11, I'd beat myself later. Though, what km curious about is if Komplete 11 upgrade will go on sale in the summer - in which case I'd rather wait for that.

Just posted in the other Komplete thread - extremely unlikely there will be an upgrade sale this summer, imo, just too soon after release. Christmas would be possible, I'd say, but not certain.

History - but admittedly based on my fallible memory, not hard data I can link to. Someone may be able to quote chapter and verse, but I can't think of a time when Komplete's upgrades were 50% off within weeks / a few months of release. I think 8-9 months would be the quickest, wouldn't it? Komplete 8 was a March release, that would be the best predictor if anyone can find out when the first crossgrade sale after that was.

Komplete 11 won't come out without Kontakt 6. And we're not there yet with Kontakt 6.

So does anybody know what the upgrade price is for the Ultimate versions? Like if I take advantage of the 50% now and upgrade when they release 11..

*In other words, I have the Komplete version, not the Ultimate version. So would it be more cost effective to get Ultimate now for $250 and upgrade to 11, or wait and upgrade to Ultimate 11 from the regular version of 10?

Well, I beta test Kontakt.

Previous three Komplete versions all had Kontakt 5 in them. With a little bit of business sense it's easy to deduce that NI doesn't want the fourth one to be the same in this regard (less incentive to upgrade), so...

Usually, there's a sale of the full version of Komplete before the release of the next version. This time, it looks like a sale on upgrades, crossgrades and for those that buy an NI keyboard.

Also, unless they release at once many libraries included in Komplete, there's not a lot of new stuff now for a new version of Komplete Ultimate.
