I don't get IK Multimedia's pricing

They sell ST3 SE regularly at €100 (now on sale at €80)
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/sampletank3se/

But for those buying iRig Mini at €80 will get ST3 SE bundled with that
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigkeysmini/

So pay less (regular price) for ST3 SE and get a midi keyboard controller included, on top of that they throw in The Grid plus 5 instrument collections from Beats and Elektronika series, not to mention 25 free Gear Credits to use in the Custom Shop :o

How much for shipping though?

I can walk 5 minutes and pick it up in my local music emporium, cost (converted to Euro) is €77

BTW: You have chosen an excellent user name, a C64 or Amiga fan?

Nice. looks like shipping for me would be about $13. Still not bad.

Could someone in the know, help me understand the SE version....

Can Sampletank 3 SE version import the S2 libraries, like legacy SampleTron and SampleMoog?

AND...

Is this 50% off deal becoming a regular occurrence?

I've grown increasingly comfortable without ever touching another IK product, but at $50 for gaining access to the SampleTron library might just be worth it...

On the other hand... I've pretty much moved on to M-Tron Pro exclusively for Tron samples. And they are good people there, so I don't mind throwing money their way for additional expansions.

Hmmm... :help:

According to info at IKM webpage it does:

Supports user sample import as well as the use of legacy Powered-by-SampleTank libraries

But as I remember from previous discussion, it is not just a case of loading up legacy libs in ST3, they need to be converted by the user inside ST3

Does anyone know if there's a difference between this conversion process in ST3 and ST3 SE?

Was looking for any feedback on Ultimate RMX 30K Bundle available at VSTBuzz from Nine Volt Audio for €89.99.

Was wondering about the quality / usefulness of these. The video looks as if they are well constructed, but I'm still a bit new. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I don't get these malfunctioning KVR thread subscriptions.

To import legacy instruments in ST3SE you pull up a menu and point it to the folder containing the legacy sample library. Then it imports the instruments and they show up in ST3SE under "Imported Instruments". It's explained here. This is for the full ST3 but it worked just the same here with SE.

So far I've only imported the ST2XL and SampleMoog libraries.

Just wanted to drop a post and say that the Zero-G cinematic sample discount is very very good at the mo

I was in the market for a new cinematic sample library and used the code FC60 found via the bargain thread (think Numanoid posted it) and bagged 60% off, basically loaded up on 4 sample libraries with about collective 12gb and price was initally about £200 but with discount came down to 80-odd quid! Brilliant so thanks for posting it!!
