One thing I'd like to complete before the official 2.8 release in mid April is to put all modulators (including 4 global LFOs) inside the bottom right tab so all can be accessed from there.
and another thing that's in my mind is to add a simple 2 waveform LFO mode where you crossfade between 2 waveforms, and apply filtering/algorithms to the LFO waveforms like wavetable oscillators...

You do realize you're doing WAY more than most developers do before a major release version?kv331 wrote:One thing I'd like to complete before the official 2.8 release in mid April is to put all modulators (including 4 global LFOs) inside the bottom right tab so all can be accessed from there.

I think you should maybe save some features for the 3.0 release

I was wondering, when can we see poly glide/portamento in Synthmaster?

I don't think I'll have enough time to do it until April 15 (that's when we'll release v2.DocShay wrote:I was wondering, when can we see poly glide/portamento in Synthmaster?

Another improvement many folks have been asking for: The layout of effects + effect reordering via drag-n-drop:
As you see above, there's only 1 FX tab for the layer (instead of 3) and all the insert effects are displayed on that tab.
I am also planning to edit the FX tab and rearrange the layout there.

Really nice visual workflow improvements
This will make the usage more simple.

Yes that's what I am hoping for. It's not "user friendly" when all the effects are spread in different places.Hanz Meyzer wrote:Really nice visual workflow improvementsThis will make the usage more simple.

one last usability improvement: No more "hey how do I go back to regular skin from player skin" issues, as we just added a context menu which pops up when you right click on the plugin window:

great updates!
did you get around to addressing the bug where wavescanning oscillator presets recall with sines in place of all the selected waveforms?
Kind of a biggie for me.

I just finished testing the latest update, v2.8.0, I guess we can call this "Beta" now
(There are still missing things but it's really stable and working)
It's on our test server, here are the links:
