is there an option to stop new feature 'automatic sliding open/hiding' of e.g. the left panel?

Hi,
I want to stop the left panel (markers,..) from sliding open when I reach the left edge.
The left panel should only show when I execute the keyboard shortcut.
I can't seem to find a tickbox under 'General behaviour' to prevent this new sliding feature when you touch the edge.
Anyone know how to deactivate this?
Should there not be such an option then this should be a FR.

I only know 1 option to help move your files tab to the top and hide tabs now you will only get the top and bottom tab to slide open. I don't know if this is a bug or not but no side tabs will slide open if you move the files tab to the top. I hope this help

Just as long as they don't get rid of it, I love it for quick loading plugins and presets, don't need the dropdown menu anymore

I noticed this as well and I guess this is a bug...
Actually, I want the panel to stay where it is/left when I need it.
I just don't want it to accidentally slide open when I move the mouse too far to the left to click on the track or wanting to record enable it.

At the top I will have my taskbar/windows which slides open/hides automatically.

no, they should not get rid of it as it can be very useful and quick.
Just make it more optional. As I said I want the right panel to automatically hide/show ...but not the left panel. For a good reason.
So, please more options.

I'm a little surprised about this because on mine I have to go a long way to the left (or right, depending where I put the browser) before it appears. Even having the mouse cursor over the second character of the track name isn't enough to make it open. If I put the browser at the top, it takes longer to open than if I have it at either side.

But, of course, other people's systems may react differently.

yes, it is the same here. It is just that I'm working with a trackball instead of a mouse and when I 'swipe' the ball to the left it often goes beyond that 'second character' of the trackname.
For me the left pane does'nt have to be automated show/hide and therefore I wish that the left edge would stay 'unmovable and firm'. Just for me and just for the left side/panel. Let's see if TrackDevs can make this tweakable.
