Hey guys,

i need your help. Mulab saved a wrong file for me. It created a .backup file with the correct file, but i dont know how to to recover it, because its a backup file and Mulab cant load it. i tried to change the name and change any property, even to change the addition of . MuSession to the name. Nothing works. thank you for your help

In short:

1 Backup the backup file !!
2 Rename the extension from .backup to .MuProject

thank you for your reply. i tried that, but the type of file is just the same, its called now Projectname.MuProject.backup so in my opinion i need to change the file type before i can use it. Renaming wont delete/change the type of backup

ah now i know what to do, you need to change the file type in the load screen (choose Filter)

Yes, when renaming the file, you need to change the file extension - not just ignore the file extension. Changing from "x.backup" to "x.MuProject" means the file is not called "x.MuProject.backup", it's called "x.MuProject". Windows can make this awkward at times.
