shortcut to close main window

is there a keyboard shortcut to close the track window on an audio track in t 7? i know i can click on the small icon, but i didn't know if there was a faster way to do that. and, second, do you have to open the bottom part of the sequencer to change a track color?

I don't think so but it's a good request, I'll add it to the list.
Yes, currently you have to open the properties panel to change the track colour but we might add it to the popup menu.

what is the 'pop up menu' ... the small version of the control panel at the bottom atuomatically hiding/showing?

Sorry I mean we might add it to the track pop-up menu. I.e. right click a track near the name and it will show a menu.
