Transformative speed update under Windows. I have a lot of third party libraries, and I'd contacted support about the sluggishness. Now browsing seems practically instantaneous.
FX drag and drop works well - you grab the edges rather than the main effect. All round a fantastic and essential update, thanks Spectrasonics.

Browsing speed is all I wanted. I almost couldn't use Omnisphere due to the sluggy browser load. This update made my day.Super fast now.noiseboyuk wrote:Transformative speed update under Windows. Wow! The update is seriously impressive. The loading times for the presets has been drastically reduced. Sounds that could take up to 15 seconds to fully load now take only a fraction of that.. and this is on my laptop that has a slow-ass old school HDD!

Indeed. So much so, that I could place the STEAM folder from my Macintosh HD (which is an SSD drive) with the rest of my sample and music library folders on my Media Library drive (which is a regular 7200rpm HDD).
Quite happy about that. One day when SSD is way cheaper I'll replace all drives with SSD or do a PCI SSD card.
