Toontrack Problems. (re-named due to more info)

I'm still trying to find the source for my Toontrack issues. I'm trying to pass on to support (both Tracktion and Toontrack) what info I find. TRacktion 7 and 6 read the same.
Can someone confirm the cpu of EZD2, EZkeys, and Addictive D2? On the cpu icon on the gui it's saying 30% or less, but when I click on that to open up the details my Toontrack plugins say 100%.
I'm trying to solve a problem...not just point them out. Thanks!

The headline figure of 30% should be how much of the CPU is being used.clintmartin wrote:I'm still trying to find the source for my Toontrack issues. I'm trying to pass on to support (both Tracktion and Toontrack) what info I find. TRacktion 7 and 6 read the same.

If you click on it to get a breakdown, I believe it always adds up to 100%*, i.e; 100% of the 30%. So the 30% and the 100% are not disagreeing.
Either way, I'd be concerned if one plug-in were using all the processing oomph under Tracktion.
* it might be that you get (number of cores) x 100%.

That makes sense. Strange that the 100% is on the same line as EZDrummer though. I just tested with only EZD2 playing a simple beat, and it says 16% on gui, and EZD2 100%, reading audio file 0.1%.
Maybe my issues are with my Presonus 44VSL and it's audio drivers? I'm stumped, but not giving up yet.

EZD2 is on my wishlist, so I can't be much more help at the moment. Hope you get it sorted.clintmartin wrote:That makes sense. Strange that the 100% is on the same line as EZDrummer though. This will be no consolation but EZ keys and EZ mix are getting heavy use with no issues here on Win 10 64 bit.
I don't really see why you have problem though. Are you getting glitches? My CPU is at 30% and most of that is EZ keys and BDF Eco. If I mute one the CPU of the other doubles percentage. Nothing else seems to use much.

It's not a problem. Your overall cpu usage is 16%. Then when you click it for the breakdown, it's saying that of the 16% of cpu being used, almost all of it is EZD2. If you add another EZD2, your overall cpu usage will be 32%, and when you click on it for the breakdown, you'll see each of them at around 50%.clintmartin wrote:That makes sense. Good. That rules that out. The problem is somewhere else.
What happens first is after awhile the drum preview with the mouse stops working, and then I have to keep resetting the audio engine. Meaning I go to the setting tab, and click on the reset audio button. It's pretty strange, and may be an issue with my Presonus 44VSL. I'm not sure. My main daw is working fine and always has.
Tracktion has suggested trying the Windows drivers instead of ASIO. I'll give that a shot and see if I can rule anything out. Thanks.
