Hi,

when I want to save a preset, the save dialog is completely white, except for the text:

The (invisible) "ok" button actually works, so I can save a preset if I know where to click. This happens with all u-he plugins that I have: Diva, Zebra, Presswerk and Satin. Unfortunately, I can't remember when this started, because I haven't made any music on the computer since christmas, I think.

Is anyone else using Bitwig on OS X? Do the save dialogs work for you?

System:
OS X 10.11.3
Retina Macbook Pro
Bitwig 1.3.6 and 1.3.8-RC2
Diva 4078
Zebra 3898
Presswerk 3857
Satin 3819

Best wishes,
Jens

I also get that, but my host is Studio One v3.

Strange, I'm getting the expected result in OSX 10.11.2 and Reaper 5.15 with both the "official" Diva 1.4.1 (#4078) as well as our latest internal build. VSTi and AUi look exactly the way they should.
I'll update to 10.11.3 and see if that changes anything, then check other hosts.

Checked with recent Bitwig, Live and Reaper on OSX 10.11.3: save dialogue appears as expected.

Is there anything I can do to help you reproduce this issue?

Just for the record, it does not happen to me in Ableton but it does happen to me in Studio One v3. The AU's as well as VST's.

Hey guys, I've been told that Bitwig will fix the white save dialogue issue for their DAW.

It's fixed now in the new RC 3 of 1.3.8
JamWide - a cross-platform Ninjam client for DAWs

I've meanwhile updated from 10.11.2 to 10.11.3 and everything's the same, dialogs look normal.

It seems that Bitwig used some custom styles that messed with the dialogs' looks. But as TuC and Suloo already pointed out, it was fixed in Bitwig (verified it myself just now) and should become available to Bitwig users soon. :tu:

Wrong place for a bug report. Who is to blame? Always the DAW coder. :D

Post

That is most likely correct in this case.
