Just noticed it now says you can buy them for 30% off. I don't think I noticed that earlier.. Either way, it says how to redeem the 30% off under promotions on the product page._gl wrote:I meant where did the quote originally come from? Newsletter, promotion web page? ie. when is 'tonight'?

I'm really happy with Hornet Filter Solo that I bought a couple of months ago
Works great and sounds great, no problems with it, goes easy on the CPU
I particularly like that there are separate LFO controls for cutoff and resonance, which means it can make some complex filtered sounding stuff

That does sound fun, but I've got a limited budget. I'll come back for it next month, but really looking at the EQ and TrackUtility, as I can never have enough of those, and I'm trying to get out of using freebies. Might just take the plunge.Numanoid wrote:I'm really happy with Hornet Filter Solo that I bought a couple of months ago

(As for freebies? Not like they're bad, but I believe you get what you pay for, look nice, and I just noticed the demo.

Usually bigger is better when it comes to sample libraries.Numanoid wrote:Once I wanted Goliath, but not anymore, 40 GB for just 600 patches
Their piano is 263 GB for 4 pianos. So Goliath is tiny really.
But seriously, a 4 TB HD can be bought for like $110 these days, so size doesn't really matter - until you try to load it with your 2 GB RAM

When it comes to bread and butter rompler sounds, I think I would rather buy SampleTank 3 SE and convert my ST2 stuff
