Ableton is at the top when it comes to time stretching and wraping no daw even comes close things you see in this video i want to be able to do in mulab and mulab is the daw for me i dont want to switch over to ableton mulab could learn hell alot from ableton

Post

Any idea how many people there work at Ableton? Compare that to 1 person here doing everything: coding, docs, support, ... The conclusion is that, in case i stay an indie developer, i rather should scale down than scale up.

Post

so what your saying theres no hope for this function

Post

Did i say that? I just said what i said, nothing more nothing less. It's not an easy puzzle.

Post

thank you very much for your Reply

What i'm saying with my previous reply is that it will never be possible for a single indie developer to do the same, or almost the same as a company with more than 200 people. That's a reality we have to take into account. That's the puzzle i mean.

Runaudio, i'm sure you thought about switching to Live.
What are your reasons for sticking with MuLab?

Post

There features would be nice, but I imagine jo has a full time job as well as the mulab project?

So really should be thankful for what we have, you're doing great jo, runaudio appreciates your work too, I'm sure, but sometimes it's a little frustrating when you wanna do something in mulab but can't. It'll get there eventually...

Post

I looked at live before purchasing mulab, I found it bewildering, more so than muzys. Not easy to get into, least not as easy as mulab. Mulab is pick up play, few Daw's can say that!

Post

No prob, don't feel bad, i don't feel bad either. I'm just stating the situation. Puzzles can be fun ;)

I'm curious for your answer on my question.

Post

the simplicity of it all love mulab mux simple things like automation its so simple like you can have any curve without drawing it in saves me times love the over all look i found mulab back in 2012 that was version 4 and straight away i felt this is the daw for me there has been alot of improvements on workflow and other aspects you have truely done a great job on mulab and mux promise one thing for you to never give up on mulab or mux look forward to future updates

Post

Don't worry about that, i'm not thinking about giving up. At the contrary, i'm eager to go on. My posts above are just reality checks, aspects that have to be taken into account. Thing is: The more MuLab grows, the more it will be compared to 'the big guys' products that all are made by (big) teams. And that's a dangerous comparison, business wise. I must look for the right ways how to continue.

:D :tu: happy to hear that
