I think Bazzilie digital oscillators are lifeless for me. Interesting to see what analog would do to them?
easier to add analogue modeled Osc's to Bazille :-)

I think Bazille digital oscillators are goldmines of expressive, creative tones and they sound gorgeous.

No to Ace.
P.s. I do not own Bazzilie so better to Ace. Hi hi hi.

For example i heared FM will not work on analog because of instability of analog. But hey FXpansion in Cypher (which is analog) did FM and WM. So truth is that something is impossible until somebody does it.

Little hint: A soft synth can't be analog.

Then it makes sense you would rather have in ACE :hihi:

btw... obviously Bazille is not modeling classic analog features like sync, pwm, cross-modulation but you can still get plenty of analog type character if you want.

It's not. It's digital. ALL SOFTSYNTHS ARE DIGITAL. At least use proper nomenclature and say "analog emulation". It's not the same as real analog - it strives to sound the same, but there are differences in how it actually works.

He knows that... He's trolling for reactions.

I see some people want to troll. My message for who it was intended i was expection they decode it propertly and most likly they did.

The same words can be seid in different context and can mean different things.

In the carrent case. When i seid analog on Uhe forum in Ace topic most likely Uhe employes understood that i mean their emultation of analog in Ace software. Or in Cypher it is emulation of analog as well.

And most likly EvilDragon and other people perfectly understood what i seid, but they just want to troll and make me look like an idiot and laugh out of me.
Ok. I do not care. Because i care what is verity(truth).

Let's continue the thread on topic of feature Ace expansions.
Peace. I love you all.

I'm not trolling, I'm correcting you. You, on the other hand...

If my memory serves (which is a stretch with my memory), there was a time when Urs was seriously considering joining a future ACE to a future "Berlin Modular." However, I don't think they would have formed a single synth, but rather parts of a sort of bundle. Although Urs also once spoke of a "virtual analog modular," which would be a different synth than ACE I think.

And then there is "ACE XL" which might have twice the modules of ACE!

Some expanded oscillators for hypothetical ACE XL would be nice. Assuming the idea of stuffing all bazzile osc features into ACE is a bit of silliness. Threads like these feel like writing letters to Santa Claus, but anyway.

My wishlist includes: Patchable outs for each waveform (one could send just the square of osc 1 to ring mod and just the 'peak' to filter, etc.) Some wavefolder and waveshaper module. Add in the handy (no workaround version) rectify, invert, slew, quantize and especially s&h from bazille. Maybe put in some patchable vca or lpg or just increase multiple count. Voltage control and audio in and output routing of delay and chorus and phaser would be awesome (it is great fun with moog pedals and more useful than it seems like it would be).

Now those are solid modular concepts.

I have never used Reaktor or Arturia Spark modules to build my own synth, but the idea of having separate modules to load into a synth vis-à-vis Zebra is brilliant. I wonder whether it would be beneficial to be able to load sub-components of ACE or Bazille in your DAW, like a oscillator section or filter section, similar to loading components of Ozone like the Imager or Maximizer? You could run a U-He oscillator through an Ozone Dynamic Multiband Filter without having to load the entire synth footprint.

Mind that this thread happened few days, maybe hours after OP bought ACE. :P No, i'm not picking, it's just that this is either an attempt to troll, or there's a serious bit of "never happy with anything" happening here, combined with the unwillingness to devote yourself deeper to something. Nothing in the world will ever be good enough then.

the OP has a long history of strange questions in regards to synthesizers.

With both ACE and Bazille, there is so much more possible as they are right now than first seems apparent. The number of different ways things can be wired that lead to useful interesting sounds is large and it takes time to discover them.

Both ACE and Bazille are like eurorack modular synths. Obviously, for someone having years of experience with hardware modular gear, they would catch on quick, but for those coming from the usual softsynths, it is a whole new world that takes time to explore.
