Actually it does have an effect, but it's usually quite negligible. Try some extreme settings.

It's a bug. I tried it all the way min and max with no difference. Is it working for you?
If you use the copy paste text from the post "tonal vs noise"
That is showing the problem.

Nope, it works
. Anyways the preset doesn't seem to use that at all. There are actually 2 attack shapes!! I originally thought you mean the advanced detector settings, where it works. Now I checked the attack curve for frequencies, and it works as well. Try this :
And process MNoiseGenerator output with this settings:
Code: Select all

Click select all. Then paste into the plugin. It will load like a preset. The only reason it is in a code box above is because the text is sooooo long it doesn't fit on the screen, this makes it easier to copy the text.

I said in MXXX.
Anyway, I have been able to recreate the bug:
If you draw any shape at all then it works fine, but if you simply raise or lower the line (when it is perfectly horizontal) it does not change the attack and release at all.
Thinking about it though, it doesn't matter as if the line were to be horizontal, we could just use the main attack and release parameters anyway.

Ah ha, thank you. You mean using the Paste button on the right-hand side to paste the settings into the current preset [A...H].jmg8 wrote:Click select all. Then paste into the plugin. Aaaha. Anyway if I remember correctly it is normalized to Attack/Release parameter (as you can see the curve with the parameter are sort of conflicting, so...).jmg8 wrote:I said in MXXX.
