It's been a while, but I never could leave the Z alone for too long ha-ha. This time around, it's all in the name really - 108 key & Lead patches (and 25 bonus bass/synth ones).

The arps are all octave patterns this time around, no more of my weird little melodic bits. These new ones are ez to use in anything you have going, just feed them a note or chord and off they go.

And a note about the modwheel settings. They are mucccchhhhhh calmer than my usual style. I wanted them to be easier to use by actual keyboard players. All I can say is grab the freebee try-before-you-buy set and you'll hear that I'm not joking, I really chilled them out. :)

Lastly, the duophonic mode got quite a work out in this set. I don't recall if I had ever clicked on it before, but I found some ways to use it to add some wild-yet-subtle life to the lead sounds.

And of course, there's an intro discount. Use the coupon code PATCHES to save 25% off the normal price ! 8)

http://www.perimetersound.com <----Just hit the webshop tab, I left Locksmith right up top so you don't havta scroll down 5 pages to find it.

I wanted to thank the mp3 demo creators - Torben Hansen, EDT Audio and Bill Davies. Check their tracks out, great demos, complete little music compositions not just a walk-through of random out of context sounds. 8)

Everyone is welcome, as usual of course, to grab the freebee try-before-you-buy pack. No email sign up required, and you can use the patches in your music the same as if you had purchased the pack - no weird demo restrictions on them. :)

Also, the discount code still works, and it looks like it brings the price down to $20.96 (U.S.) out the door. 108 Keys & Leads, and 25 extra/bonus bass & synth patches. All with all 4 X/Y pads assigned, modwheel functions, and arp variations.

Most sets have a few keys and a few leads, but what other set has this many in one collection ? And how often do you find yourself wanting more keys or leads to choose from when laying down some tracks ? I asked myself those questions and the answers were none, and almost always, so I made 'Locksmith' to use. :)

just an FYI...

I went to your website and did not find Locksmith audio demos... it was only when I came back here I noticed that you gave instruction to hit the webshop tab. You might make it easier to find. Cheers

I turned the name 'Locksmith' into a direct link to the webshop product page from the frontpage. Good call. :)

Thanks for checking it out, coming from a top notch Zebra patch designer like yourself I'll take that as a compliment. 8)

It's kind of tough to explain how (all) the arp variations are set up, it's just in octaves, and with various tweaks to the rhythmic patterns. They are meant to just go -under- your music and add some spice, without having my usual cool-but-obnoxious melodic stuff happening all over the place in the middle of a track. I believe they are waaayyyy more useful in everyday music making situations, and I have included 8 of them in the freebee try-before-you-buy no obligation or demo restriction pack. :)

Friday *bump*. There's still plenty of time to get the intro discount on this set. Treat yourself this weekend. :)

Monday *bump*. Anyone else get a chance to check out the mp3 demos, or the freebee pack yet ?

Like I said before, the freebee pack is 100% free to use in your music, no email sign up required, and no demo-only restrictions. Lay down some cool melodies on your tracks, and sell it on Itunes or Bandcamp, or wherever you like. Then maybe come back and buy the whole set when you realize how much fun a bunch of keys & leads are to use and to have all in one place. :)
