in all Versions of Tracktion on my Computer:
Tracktion 5, and the demos of Version 6 and 7 are now unusable for me, is there any solution for this Problem?
My System: Linux Mint 17 (Quiana), AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 5000+,
Operation System/Software is running in 64 Bit

Below are some attachments which are showing the problem I have, I cannot get Tracktion back to working.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I tried to deinstall and reinstall T 7, but that did not help, so there must be somewhere somehow a "leftover"?
Thanks for the Help! :)

Okay, it seems to me I solved the problem, by dabbling around the screen around the place where the Mouse Cursor is I was able to get the fonts back, but nevertheless it might be a bug which should be fixed ?

I found last week that some fonts make all the text disappear. This was using the English language version. I was about to try to direct you to the Fonts option. Now that you know where it is, perhaps changing the language might be easier. Perhaps measuring where the Font and Language settings are might help you if you get the same problem. Might be worth saving some screen images with the text visible for reference purposes, just in case.

Yes, obviously :) - or I might sit in the dark, lterally.
I am at the moment evaluating if I can use tracktion on linux - I bought Tracktion 5 some years ago used it in Win 7 and tried Linux also, but somehow I cannot get it properly work in Linux, without language bugs, poofing and blacked out plugins.....so I am always trying the new versions out, till I hope there is some day one which is working.
But anyway - I hope I can change to Linux completely sooner or later, because over the last six month Win 7 has trouble updating and that is quiet unnerving - but that is just another story.

....unfortunately even the newest Version poofes still and plugins GUIs are still black....not sure how to report that in the best way, because there are so many softsynths doing this :(

Can you access the logfile? It might give you some clues, or you can email it to support@tracktion.com with details of your difficulties.

I'd like to try it on Linux, but I don't have a 64-bit PC going spare.

I was trying to update a W7 Samsung laptop (not mine) to W10, but searching Google revealed that it's been a problem for everyone who tried. I could have removed the wi-fi card and done the update, but its owner would rather have the wi-fi card than W10.

I know there is a Linux dev aboard now. Good luck with it.

Thank you jabe, I will try and have a look at it if I can find a logfile somewhere. That would be great if there is a clue in there and a possibility for a solution. Perhaps I am not the only one having this problem.

If you click the Help button, you should be able to get to the logfile that way. As long as you've got some text, of course!
