...no clue on how to get this to work. In other threads V! has mentioned that it is/maybe very problematic in the AU format...if you have gotten it to work could you share a little over here?...

Here's the thing - AU contains a method to send MIDI messages to host, but wait for it, most hosts ignore it! Yes, that's Apple... So one would have to create a virtual MIDI device or something and stuff like that, no thank you. So I'm afraid if you are stuck with Logic or something, then you don't really have much choice.

VST works, only AU is the problem.
