Thanks again Piet! Appreciate these..
There was an excellent thread a couple of years ago on what you can do with wavetables in Zebra. Here is that link: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=377567
It kicks off with a link to a tutorial by Will Marshall on Wavetables in Zebra. You really should check it out - as it explains what you can do with the wavetables that are in the Patchlib. Going through the tutorial, and then messing around with the Wavetables in the patchlib really opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of what these can do.
It is definitely one of those things, that you should try -- Explanations are cool. But fiddling around the tutorial - then changing up some of your existing patches by introducing different wavetables will really show you what is possible.

I'm decent at tweaking existing Zebra patches, though I don't have loads of experience with creating patches from scratch. Do you have any tips on how to use these wavetables other than read the Zebra manual (which I did). Thank you.

jdoo,
I did get it working earlier, though I certainly did not understand everything going on. I definitely learned a lot in the video, thank you!

This is incredible! How did you do it? I have so many wavetables in wav format for use in Serum. I would love to be able to convert those to .h2p format for use in Zebra, however. That would be the ultimate. Do you know of any way to do this that wouldn't involve splitting each one of those wavetables into 16 equal wav files and manually feeding them into wav2zebra? If only there were a way to simply convert wav to h2p.... Thanks!!!!

This is actually quite simple.
I share the wavetable of serum in 4 Waves. Then I take, for example, 1 then 100 then 175 then 256th
This 4 Waves I import in "Wav2Zebra2 version 05" on the positions 1, 6, 11 and 16th
Then Wav2zebra interpolates the wavetable and then is saved.
Equally I converted for me all new 400 wavetables from Omnisphere 2 for Zebra2 and Serum.

@PietW that's amazing! Is there any chance you'd be kind enough to share? I love Omnisphere 2. I have the synth and I was able to find its wavetables in wav format so I use them in Serum as well.PietW. wrote:This is actually quite simple.

When you say that you only take 4 of the positions, do they have to be exact single cycle waveforms? I wish I could just watch you do it once. I've been messing around with wav2zebra and the Galbanum single cycle waveforms pack but I haven't gotten very good results trying to convert any existing wavetables. I have been messing around with Blueberry thing as well lately and at least have gotten interesting results, even though they are not accurate. I couldn't find a manual for it either so it was kind of hard to figure out. Thanks so much!!

Also, if you only take 4 little snippets of the wavetable you want to convert, is that usually enough for it to sound authentic? I tested out a one bar morph of the wavetables in Massive versus the ones you created for Zebra and they sounded so good. Were you able to do this using only 4 short samples of the original wavetable?

Hoooo, that sounds so great! I join my voice to those asking if you would be so kind to share these waves. That'd be so awesome! Thanks in advance!
