So why didn't I know about this synth earlier?
I just listened to some audio examples and they sounded very very promising. Will absolutely demo this synth today!

Hi, I purchased the Dagger, received the serial but cannot activate it. The activate button stays gray and doesn´t work.
Seems like there´s a bad bug in the activation process. I´m angry now

Found a workaround: Simply installed the previous version. When I install the new version over the old,
the mess begins again. 1.06 works for me now.
Yep, contacted the support of beepstreet and here in KVR via PM at itoa.
Itoa responded a little and told me that a registration guy will help me out.

I had the same issues until I allowed my DAW to access the internet, and after that the activation worked!bite_me wrote:Hi, I purchased the Dagger, received the serial but cannot activate it. The activate button stays gray and doesn´t work.

So wait a minute....Is this app using challenge/response then? Why would it need contact through the internet to activate it, if you have the serial?Sunrider wrote:I had the same issues until I allowed my DAW to access the internet, and after that the activation worked!bite_me wrote:Hi, I purchased the Dagger, received the serial but cannot activate it. Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

On the strength of Dagger I was forced to take another look at Sunrizer. I get it now

Got the old version to work - until it told me "unregistered" with that cool white noise included.
Then I installed the new version over it and it´s now registered...???!!!
That Dagger acts really weird!
Don´t like it very much because of this bullsh!t anymore.
