2.If possible could you add this option to be chosen when you add any audio files to a Tracktion track in your edit or place this tab on each audio clip. The options is (edit audio/basic editing operations) tab. It would seem to make things much faster if I had these option before the clip hit the track. Like choosing between mono and stereo is critical to a mix so I fell these option should be ask for any imported audio by default with the option to turn off this feature while you can also you the features on the clip it self.

I'm not quite sure I understand 1. If you drag and drop files to the clipboard they will be added to the Edit? This will happen no matter where they come from (Windows, VSTs etc.). 2. Do you mean you would like to be asked for any basic editing operations as you import files? I could see this getting annoying for most users. The only speed improvement I can see is that you could apply this to multiple files at once? If that's the case it might be better if we just enabled you to apply the same effect to multiple source files at the same time? This means you could batch mono-ise a set of clips. Is that what you're requesting?

1. If you are inside a edit in Tracktion you can not drag and drop multiple files to the clip board unless they are copied from the edit. Example: I am using the MPC software an I can export midi and audio tracks in the MPC software and then drag and drop the files in Tracktion, but I want to drag and drop each exported track from the MPC software to Tracktion clipboard so my clipboard will have all my 16 tracks from my MPC software. When ever I add a new track to the clipboard when a track is already on the clipboard it replace the old track with the new one.dRowAudio wrote: I'm not quite sure I understand 1. 2.Yes ask the basic operation options. As for this becoming annoying if possible this tab can be in the same window that ask if you want to copy the file to the Project folder witch is a feature I like to keep on by default and I only turn it off when I am making a beat or mastering multiple tracks. I don't want to put every audio clip I import in my projects folders. I use reference clips a lot so I like to be ask to copy file to project, but like I mentioned before this feature should have a option to turn it off.
