Windows, so I can't really help out with any OSX issues. Although I might be able to check if a certain plugin has the same problem on Windows. It's not likely, but you never know.

There's also the slow plugin scan, right? I remember having that problem on Windows years ago. For me, it turned out to be my antivirus software. It was ensuring my safety for every single plugin Tracktion loaded to investigate. Tracktion's scan seems to be a bit more in-depth than a lot of others. I like the way FL Studio gives you a choice for either fast or slow plugin scan.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Think they've sorted the slow plugin scan on OSX now, right? In the latest beta?

Am I just to blind to see ?

Trying out Tracktion 7 demo (actual beta 7.026), could not find the clip effects ? Button is just not there on the clip where it is in the video.

It is an audio clip (o.k., realized soon that it is not for midi clips, what a pity...), rendered from a project just to use as master edit.

Where the hell is the clip effect button ?

I loaded demo track, there it works on the audio clips. Maybe just not for master clip ? Would be a pity though. And really a pity that its not available for midi clips :-((.

Automation patterns works great, lfo modifier nice too :-)))

Clip FX cannot currently be applied to an 'edit clip' - there are too many dependencies

To use Clip FX on MIDI, you must first render the clip to audio - super quick

O.k., can understand this (still a "one time it works, one time it crash" with the edit clip, wonder how it will be in T7 cause you cant test with the demoversion, wont of course render) with too many dependencies.

Yes, render to audio, I just hate audio except for final mastering. I am very happy that at least the automation patterns work on midi clips too.

Just want to say that the more I use T7, the more I love it. It's a very powerfull app, I discover a little of its potential every day, it's just amazing for the price !
Maybe a FR : something you have in Reason : you select some of the slice markers you put on a audio clip, and use them to split the audio clip (a "split audio clip using selected slice markers" option).
