Dragging multiple audio files was fixed in version 6.something.

As per automation, the full version of Metro has viewing and editing of volume, pan, aux volume, aux pan, and every single exposed plug-in parameter on every plug-in in every plug-in chain. Automation can be enabled and disabled for record or playback.

What is it you are missing/wanting exactly?

I've been a Metro user for a loooooooong time, going back to when it was Dr. T's Beyond and was MIDI only. I've always wondered why it doesn't get more love, especially since it's now multi-platform (was Mac only for a long time). Admittedly, if your thing is loop-chopping, it's not the last word in that, but I don't do a lot of that. I still have a lot of hardware (starting to get back into software again) and about 20 different things that send or receive MIDI, and of course Metro is excellent for that, but its audio manipulation capabilities have improved a lot since version 5.0 and I now find that I can do pretty much anything I need to do re audio manipulation with it.

I was just in touch with Jeremy (Sagan - very smart & approachable guy - and just in case you didn't know: the son of a rather well-known astronomer) - I have a license for M7 that I'm getting ready to take full advantage of as a fresh install on a i7 win10 laptop - it should be completely up and running by the end of this week -

Nice!

Former Cakewalk app, previously former OSC app, previously former Dr T's app, now independent app.

What do you mean with M7? Is there a new version of Metro I'm not aware of?

EDIT. Googled and found it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

You're welcome! :D

I'm *really* interested in seeing how it runs on win10, and if its as stable as advertised -

I'll be passing on any anomalies to Jeremy, & share with you guys what's happening -

Looks to be pretty damn full-featured - I like the fact that it has been around forever, and that the dev is right there - its nice to be able to talk directly to the man versus a black hole (like Synthmaster's Bulent - *love* that guy) -

Yes but you identified it wrongly as KCS. It wasn't KCS, but Beyond - http://www.mikecollins.plus.com/PUBLICA ... Review.pdf

*BUMP* (ground shakes, as if T-Rex himself just walked into frame :hihi: )

OK - a couple of months later, I'm *finally* going to be first installing, and then using Metro - starting this weekend, even!

I'll post here as it all moves forward - GA

OK: Just installed Metro 7.28 beta on my semi-old i7 laptop with nary a hitch - the last available Metro 7 version stable is 7.26, but I elected to do the beta in order to possibly help Jeremy S. out.

Miniscule installer ~ 5MB's - Running, it has a clean, uncluttered interface - all business/no flash - not ugly, though.

Feels fast - my guess is that the coding is piano-wire-tight.

Spent hours of my time Saturday night/Sunday morning babysitting a whole slew of updates to the laptop, including a major one for Win 10. Well: Metro 7 still opens -

Indeed. There are tales that it's mostly been done in machine code while in a nicotine poisoned fugue state. :hyper: I had a small issue getting it running but part of it was that Windows 10 did not like the installer trying to launch the app when it was done.
