Two questions from a still-newbie

So whilst I'm still fumbling my way around Tracktion, I've had two things come up:

The first one is, when I have clips selected that overlap other clips (eg. if I stop recording, backtrack, and start recording over the top), I can't seem to find a way to bring those tracks 'on top' so I can adjust the start/end points. Sometimes the other tracks (presumably the ones recorded later) will sit on top and I can't access the clip adjustment icons. I hope this makes sense? If I can find a way to bring those tracks to the top, that would be excellent. Or if there is a way to fix it so that selected clips are 'always on top', that would be even better.

Second question: How do I invert phase of a track? I can't seem to find anything anywhere to do it. I confirmed today that my kick mic is out of phase with everything else, and I want to know how to fix the phase on tracks that I've already recorded.

This is only in T7 it got to be a glitch or mistake at TSC because you can edit the selected clip in T6 no matter at the bottom or top of the clips. But there is a shortcut, right click and select bring obscured clip to the front.

I don't Know how this isn't present. I thought this feature was in the earlier versions of Tracktion if I am not mistaken. But I can give you a great way around it an if you like you can remove your tracktion volume fader completely from your tracks if you like and keep only your Tracktion level meter for monitoring the peaks. Just add the volume, quick parameter to this plugin so you won't have to always open it to ajust your volume of your tracks. Hi Lay it, in answer to your first response when I used that right-click shortcut, instead of bringing my currently selected clips (which were obscured) to the front, it brought the other clips to the front even though they already were. So I think you're right - it is a bug with T7, although I didn't use T6 long enough to find out.

I'm not sure what your second response is aiming at though. I need to invert the phase of a track, not change my volume plugin?

The freeG plugin has a phase invert button on it. Hope this help.

Ahh ok cool, thanks! So you can't natively invert phase in Tracktion? That seems a bit weird!

I remember it now, use a Tracktion EQ it has a Phase Invert button. There you go wa la.
