Is there a sample player in mxxx somewhere for playing simple loops into mvocoder or mmorph?
Like a loop that plays seamlessly forward/backward so I don't have to set up an extra track in the daw and to be able to save it as a preset with mmorph in mxxx.
A module that goes into the feed channel of another plugin with the sample loop. Would save a lot of time.

Yeah, I desperately want this too. I'm currently building stuff in Reaktor but I can wait for the MYYY stuff to appear, I'd love to get access to sampler modules in MXXX (I presume there will be some crossover between the two).

I only know the few things that Vojtech has said. Sampling, spectral stuff, some other random things, etc. The fact that it's called 'MYYY' and not 'MSpectralSynth' or whatever makes me think it's going to be very deep.

Could it be a Photoshop synth?
I have bought some things to make pictures outta sounds (Spectral pictures) and can edit them with Photoshop like paint programs to make exact repairs and sound bendings. I can even print them and reuse them later after scanning although it's not as high-resoluted as I wish it would be...but well

I tried to make a synthsound of a sound that someone made by clancing a stalagtite in a cave - went well so far.

But the extraction of a sound of an old song, which was embedded didn't work to well.
It's hindering, that I can't exaclty hear, what I'm doing as long as I am in the graphic program.
Only after recalculating to a soundfile I can hear, what I've done.

...myyy is assumingly usable as an sampler inside mxxx, if I got that right....when it comes out that is....so......

perhaps mcompare (follow mode off) would work? (I don't have mxxx) It will loop the loaded file.
