I'm very happy with Racks in T7.
I can finally route Superior Drummer discrete outputs easily so I have one track for the midi clips and one track for each group/mic. Then all tracks to a Drums Submix.

This is brilliant implementation, congrats TSC!!!

(still waiting although for a less contrast color scheme...

)

What exactly are these improvements with racks in T7? I can't seem to find any info or videos about this – would appreciate any pointers. Thanks!

For me, the ability to route audio from/to any track is just genius!

If you mean using racks in general, check out Bill Edstrom's YouTube videos on T5 and T6. As far as I can tell, the implementation hasn't changed a whole lot, so those would be helpful...

Thanks alejandrozalaquett – that sounds very useful (and brings it in line with the signal routing in DAWs like Reaper).

Thanks gesslr – I'm familiar with the racks concept/implementation in T6 (love the modularity!

) but in the lead up to T7 there were rumours of a "fully overhauled Racks environment" [1] and alejandrozalaquett's post reminded me / got me intrigued again

For me, this image shows it all. That + buttons inside the rack window, make a huge difference!

The only downside is that I can't play the superior drummer in realtime with this routing (latency problems that doesn't occur without the rack). With the midi clips, it works like charm.
