Different scripts for different Launchpads.

I am trying to find out which scripts work with which Launchpads.
As there are several.

If i am correct there are no scripts for the Mini MK2?

I don't have the documentation in front of me, but I'm pretty sure the MK2 mini uses the same midi implementation as the Mk1 mini. So the any of the Mk1 scripts should work. Don't quote me on that though, I'd have to go find the programmers reference guides and compare them

I'm not positive, but I think novation changed the Midi implementation on all of the Mk2 launchpads to match the pro. If that's the case I don't think it will work with any of the Mk2.

Unfortunately I don't have a mk2 to update the script, sorry.

Good find! So here is the only thing I could find on the matter.

Obviously this says nothing about the Midi implementation. However I am going to assume that the only reason they changed the Midi implementation from the Launchpad S Mk1 to the Launchpad S Mk2 is because of the need for RGB support in the Mk2. Both the Mk1 and Mk2 Lauchpad Mini are not RGB, so I would tend to think they have the same Midi implementation. But this is just a guess.

If you change the name in the script to match the name your Mac or pc sees the mini as it will work. You might not even have to go that far. I found that changing the names of several scripts to match the controller I had works with varying results. But with the Launchpad and mini as long as they are the same "MK" it should work. Again you may or may not get perfect results.

Forgive the old man that is confused, but ....

I have a specific use for something like this with bitwig 1.3.15 and not sure I understand.

Don't want to have to buy something and return it. What I want:

-launch and record clips
-launch scenes

That's really it If it does that, then I'll be happy. If it's more, then beautiful!
