Obviously more bloat added to the program :hihi:

But both DAW have different paradigms and workflows. So which is better depends a lot on how you work.
I made this point earlier. I think Live and Bitwig are excellent DAWs with a very specific/different workflow in mind. Even so, MIDI editing in Bitwig isn't nearly as refined or feature complete as it is in Cubase. But, as I've said a million times before, if you never use the MIDI editing features Bitwig may lack, and the workflow fits how you want to do things, then quit worrying about feature x and worry about features a->w that you use all the time.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

My decision will depend on one factor, alone: which host is better for the ROLI Seaboard RISE? I know Bitwig 8-Track is bundled with the RISE 49 (not looking at the 25, even with the huge bundle right now), but will I be able to get the same usability out of Cubase as you get out of Bitwig, for the RISE?

I would personally much rather get Cubase, as I've had it before (Cubase 7) and like it. I find sequencing in Bitwig to be easier, but I already have Studio One for my sequencing, and I love that. I'd like the MIDI capabilities of Cubase over Bitwig (from what I've gathered), but again, it all comes down to: which is more usable for the RISE?

Would someone with a ROLI Seaboard RISE and Cubase please confirm that you can do everything in Cubase with the RISE as you can do in Bitwig...or not?

Please, we don't need a flamewar in this thread... :?

OK I'm late to this but... does Cubase have an equal replacement/alternative of the clip & session view features of Bitwig?

I'm seriously considering looking at Bitwig for writing purposes, as clips really suit my workflow.
This isn't what you think.

In case the OP hasn't seen this already (both DAW's work, but there's some setup involved)...
