I modified the patch now screams a little
Nice patch Taifunk :phones:
Note: I noticed a redundant meta-parameter 2 on the front panel.
Thanks Jo , I'm glad you like :)
It is part of another patch and I forgot something when I deleted the rest
at the moment are only experiments, soon I share something better
much fun with all the new features and mux sounds really great!

Glad to hear you like M7. I've been working on the factory lib last week and here and there fixed some bugs i encountered. An M7.0.12 update is coming soon.

Thanks Jo, waiting for try the new update :tu:

Am I missing it? I'm used to ratios up to 14:1 between operators. If I drop the carrier down to -60 steps and the modulator to +60 steps, I can get 10:1.

Am I mathing wrong? Or, is this a hard limitation?

Otherwise, it sounds great. :)
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(

Seems you are correct. The carrier pitch modulation range in the osc is set to 4800 (= +-48 semi). Please set to 6000, in which case you still get 'only' 60 semi tone ratio if the carrier octave = 0!

Something else:
In the meantime, I looked into linear FM a bit more. What I call linFM in the patch, isn't! Lin FM is exponetial FM and Exp FM in that patch is a (processed) exponential FM as well.
Without any effort, MUX does basically exponential FM. As does everybody else.
As usual, I guess linear FM is doable, I just haven't figured out yet how to do it properly.

In my patch I always set the pitch modulation range to 6000 it is assumed that this is correct.
About FM I do not know much ,if I'm not mistaken linear fm is the most similar to phase modulation.
However forgive me but am not very good on the technical side,I usually use fm in this way and I hope to be of help, I do not know if it is linear, exponential but sounds like FM of my other synths and very similar to PM.
