Recording Midi Out from arpeggiator

This is an outdated topic. Meanwhile MuLab has an Event Recorder module that makes it easy to record event output from modules eg arpeggiators.

Would this also record the arp output from third party plugins like Komplete Kontrol?

Yes the event recorder records whatever events it receives, thus also event output from VST plugins.
