Hy guys at traction,
i have bought biotek yesterday and iam quite impressed by the sound so far...
but i want to dive deeper inside, import my own samples and so on.
Is there a way to open the engine? i know its a lot work to make it sound like the presets sound now,
but for 150$ i want more control !
Is there a pro version coming?

I'm with ya on that greententacle. In earlier posts on Biotek, the TSC mentioned an authoring tool that would provide the functionality you're interested in. I believe he said to contact them to request access to the tool. I'd link to the thread, but I believe it's been deleted. I requested access in another thread and never got a response, but I never followed up beyond that. You might just email Tracktion support and see if the offer still stands.
My impression is that the authoring tool is probably the thing many of us would like to get our hands on. Let me know if you try anything else.

I recall that they said preset authors had access to the underlying tools. My impression is that it isn't really set up to be as user friendly as a commercial product would be and takes some time to grok.
My hope is that they will see the interest in access to the toolset and maybe release a) a few more elements of control in the current Biotek, and b) "BiotekPro" as a paid version.
Some may balk at paying more, but even for another $100 - $150 it would still me price competitive to the SampleLogic stuff, Omnisphere, etc. of the world.
