Rack Mode Upgrade

The Rack Mode upgrade (2.0.1) for Receptor 2s does not introduce 64 bit operation. Uniwire as well does not have a 64bit counterpart and is unfortunately a discontinued product. If you absolutely love Uniwire but can't use it because you are stuck in 64bit you could invest in 32 Lives (http://www.soundradix.com/products/32-lives/) a plugin wrapper that allows 32bit applications to be used in a 64bit environment.

Hey Nick. 64 bit lives will not work in Logic X on El Capitan. Unwire wraps but won't transmit midi data when called up in the plugin i/o.
I would encourage the original poster to attempt to establish the connection in a torrented or demo copy of the plugin before wasting $100 trying to make it work.
Nick, if I'm wrong, send me a screenshot and prove it works.
Little receptor becoming outdated. Poor guy...they shouldn't have let these things die off. Great invention, sad sad story.

Nick, do you know in fact that 32LIVES works with Uniwire or is that a hope / assumption?
In what soft/hardware environment are you familiar with its functionalily?
(i do understand the complexity here because of the myriad of possible os(s), software, hardware combinations)
I agree, Jkuehlin, the "letting-go" of these otherwise wonderful devices is indeed a shame.
