I figured there would be problems with this synth as there were no installation instructions with the downloaded installation files - and I was right!
I installed the files to C:\Program Files\Tubilesax and copied the TubiLeSax.dll file to my Shared Plugins folder of Project 5. When I run the Cakewalk VST adapter it does not recognise or list Tubilesax and I cannot install it as a VSTi or DXi
Can anyone give me a detailed breakdown of the installation process using the TubiLeSax-full and TubileSax-1-88s installation files ?

Well, since I use T-LS with Sonar3, using the VST-DX adaptor, I think you its unlikely that it the Adaptor wont see it.
Do you have other VSTs installed okay?
Do you definitely have the latest updates for Project5 and the Adaptor?
Firstly, I'd ensure the T-LS .dll is in a folder the adaptor will check for VST's. Then run the adaptor front-end, and select the Reset All button. Then highlight 'rescan failed plugins' and hit Next. Check to see if T-LS comes up in the list of plugins VST-DX displays... If it doesnt at all, and doesnt report an error, its not even finding the .dll; normally it'll report an error if it just cant load it.

sorry for the lack of info,
I suggest you an easy manual installation:
*clean Registry wirth some appl,
or run RegEdit, find TubiLeSax folder and delete it*
then create a new folder in VstPlugIn folder and name it "TubiLeSax"
move into that TubiLeSax.dll from your 1.88 installation
also move there "Sax Data" folder
and "TubiLeSax Skins" one
that's all you need to run LeSax as VSTi,
keep the HTML Manual somehere and delete everyhing in
C:\Program Files\Tubilesax

Thanks for the help. I reckon it was because I installed the main files to C:\Program Files and then only transferred the .dll file to Shared Plugins that it was not showing up in the VST adapter. I was getting an error about finding the Sound Data directory and the Scale directory. The vast majority of my VSTi's just need the .dll file in the Shared Plugins file, but TubeLeSax needs the extra files in Shared Plugins too it seems
. I followed Liqih's advice and the installation worked fine this time.

I've used TubiLeSax for a while with Cakewalk's adapter with no problems.
Only recently have I been seeing this message when wrapping it:
I will attempt to re-install it, but I figured I'd pass on the info here just in case it is indeed a bug.

I then have the option to "Disable" the plug-in or "Enable Plug-In (Risky)" within the adapter application.The following plug-in caused an error during load: TubiLeSax
The adapter reported the failure point as: Close Effect
I will attempt to re-install it, but I figured I'd pass on the info here just in case it is indeed a bug.

I spoke too soon 
On firing up Project 5 and adding Tubilesax as a track I got a message saying there was an error with the VST file and P5 would have to shut down. Last time I had it working Tubilesax was showing up as version 1.88f with SSE - I thought it should show up as 1.88s with SSE ?

did you cleaned the Windows Registry from old lesax entries?
is yours the last update of the Adapter?
it could be that the skin load may have some problem with the Adapter, I'll ask Cakewalk
may you try DirectiXer too?

I do have the latest adapter version including the patch sent out last month. Version 1.88f is working OK and I am using the lesax skin.
I uninstalled last time using Windows Add/Remove in the Control Panel. It must have done a good job as I cannot find any entries in the registry for Tubilesax. Where would the registry entries be placed and what would they be named as ?
I am happy running Tubilesax as 1.88f as long as I am not missing something critical that was in 1.88s -let me know
