I am sorry if I have missed something somewhere but is there any indication of when Zebra 3 will be with us?

I am looking forward to it very much.

Post

You do not use something to a full potential does not mean others do not use something to a full potential.

Yeah, you're the one to say that to others, LOL.

Not to sure what you mean chilly, I wasn't referring to anyone else but myself.

Not anytime soon... my guess is that we may see a public beta by the end of 2016

In particular I am hoping for the drop down preset options for oscillators, filters, envelopes, Arp patterns etc as In Hive... And more!

Zebra3 needs Diva-quality filters at the CPU expense of Zebra2's XMF filter. The imminent release of RePro-Alpha has a great deal to do with that, as the discussion of its filter modes may give us that answer.

Such that, if you see talk about RePro, it's also talk about technical stuff we're figuring out for Z3.

Likewise, some of the underpinnings of the drum synth are likely to end up in Z3's comb modules.

What I'm saying is, we're already working on it by putting new technologies in place.

I'm very much looking forward to see how you guys are going to build on, and enhance what is in my opinion an already excellent product.

Believe it or not I was recently going to sell my zebra2 license having moved to using analogues, but family circumstances mean I now have to do the majority of music writing on the laptop away from the studio so I downloaded the latest version and started using it again.

The latest filters and distortion modules are excellent, and I am once again reminded and blown away by how fun and versatile zebra is. It can literally do pretty much everything and I'm grateful for not selling it. Maybe it'll even permanently take the place of some of my hardware!

So still a lot of love here for Zebra2 from a long-time user (2006)! Zebra 3 will no doubt be immense. Can't wait :-)

Dear Urs,

Sounds good. Any indication of date? This year? It would help with planning....
