Hello,

I may have accidentally deleted some .MUX effects files (it is possible to do so from within the MuLab 6 user-interface).

Is there a way to restore accidentally deleted .MUX files without having to uninstall and reinstall MuLab?

Thanks!

Post

Just to clarify my question - I want to restore the factory library .MUX files.

Thanks!

Simply reinstall MuLab:

1) Extract the M6 zip package into a new folder.
2) Copy the User folder in your original M6 MuLab folder into the new M6 install folder.

Hello, and thanks for your reply.

I went back to the original .zip file, and it doesn't appear as though i accidentally deleted any .mux factory presets.

However, this prompts another question:

In the "Live Effects" factory effect (under "Experimental Units"), in the bottom left-hand corner of the Front Panel, it shows the C4 pad triggering a "Modulated Filter".

Why can't i find this "Modulated Filter" as a separate stand-alone factory .MUX effect that can be loaded separately into a rack?

Thanks

Because not every single mux patch is saved as a preset file. But you can do so yourself. Simply go to that "Modulated Filter" MUX and use its context funtion "Save As Preset".

OK-- thanks for the advice.
