modal dialogs

There are a few cases where there are modal dialogs that prevent any window switching. Installation and mdrummer sample scan for example (which can take very long). It would be great to make these non-modal.

Sorry Viraj, it's often very problematic to do that and it doesn't have a priority really. Especially these one time actions, where it is actually desirable for people not to do anything else.
