All my tags completely messed up by the 7.1 update

OK I used the multi select feature to tidy up some of my tags but now have just restarted Tracktion and something has gone wrong, it looks like removing or renaming some tags has moved everything else into categories they were not in before, so for example now Serum and several other plugins are tagged as Reaktor ensembles and almost everything is in the wrong category at least partially! It took me ages to get this right so not happy.

I would suggest no one use this feature till it's fixed because there is a serious bug somewhere.

Thanks for the word up.
Btw, just clicked on your link to the Kore templates. Begeezus you've got a lot of stuff there! Looks like some of our tastes in sounds and synths overlap. Will definitely check this out in the coming weeks. That's a helluvalot of work and generosity to the community...contributions will ensue!

Thanks - I probably should update that page, I have made a lot more since I last updated it.

I've been looking at this today. I think what you're seeing is just how the tagger currently works (and has worked for loops for years).
When you press OK, all the highlighted tags will get applied to all the selected items.
However, I agree this is not particularly useful behaviour so I've modified it to only apply tags that you have explicitly changed. You'll now see tags that will not get applied to all the items in a fainter green in the tag cloud.

Ah I see, I was thinking it was because I deleted some tags and that had affected the order of all the tags in the database, that's kindof how it looks.

Is this going up as a beta so I can fix my tags?

Thanks for the fix. So far seems to have worked.
