Tried the 7.1 alternative GUIs and wanted very much for one or both to work for me, but they do not.
I would like to keep up in lockstep with Tracktion and migrate up to T7, but I honestly cannot edit long without my eyes blurring.
I use Tracktion 6 no less than 21 hours a week and the color scheme I plagiarized from T2, for T5 and T6, works very well.
If no color editor is forthcoming can we -- please -- at least have a standard T2-type no frills scheme?
For me T is a tool and anything that impedes workflow is a non-starter

Isn't that what the new "Use Low Detail Interface" setting does?ScottG wrote:A check box that allows "remove all gradients and transparency from UI" would help those that prefer a flat color scheme.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I stand corrected, the additional option does appear to remove gradients/transparency on the clip.
Would be great if it could include the volume control and other items.
I can live with this.
