Hi,
I have registred biotek and that did the job - in the beginning.
Every time I start tracktion or reaper and call biotek, biotek is in demo mode.
win 7 64 bit. tracktion as 32 bit app, reaper as 64 bit app.

Can you make sure you only have one instance of BioTek open when you register it.
It should be enough to just have one instance open but to be on the safe side, open your host, load one instance, register and then close the host.
When you re-launch all new instances should be unlocked.

Could you verify this? It would help us track down the problem.midklang wrote:I am not sure, but It seem to be an issue if I change the host.
I.e. if you only use T7, close and re-open it does BioTek stay unlocked?

Yes, I can
:
- T7 32 bit: register -> ok ->
- T4 32 bit: ok, registration is accepted
- reaper 64 bit: registrtion not accepted -> new registration needed
- back to T7 32 bit: registrtion not accepted -> new registration needed

Are you sure you entered your machine ID in correctly? Note that it has to be the one in the plugin UI, not the one from the Tracktion about box.

Ok thanks, I think that might be the problem. I've sent an message to our webmaster to look in to this.
But isn't the online unlock working for you?

Ok, thanks. It does look like there's something odd going on here. I'll take a look in to it.midklang wrote:Yes, I can:

Yes it does. I'm running a laptop and a 100% silent desktop in my studio and I try to avoid an internet connection with that desktop computer.dRowAudio wrote:But isn't the online unlock working for you?

Thanks, this is a problem when switching between 32 and 64 bit versions of the plugin.
If you stick with the same architecture it should stay unlocked.
We're looking into a fix at the moment.

Ah, ok, thank you.
I'm using T as 32 bit as I have lots of 32 bit plugins plus old projects I want to user further on. And reaper has a brilliant 32 to 64 bit bridge inbuilt that allows me to use the 64 bit version. As I don't want to change that I will wait for the fix as for Live is the same as with Tracktion.

As long as you use the 32-bit version of BioTek in Reaper (even in the 64-bit version) it should stay unlocked.
