Some VST plugins don't work in T7

Hi there,

I finally succeded in scanning my plugins in T7 but the following don't work properly:

Linplug RMV: is recognized when scanning with an error message concerning REX files; when loaded in a project the GUI doesn't show up.
AIR Transfuser: the (scalable) GUI appears larger than the screen when opened in a project; the lower part can therefore not be edited.

Though I generally like T7 I may not buy a license because I use RMV and Transfuser a lot.

Is it 32/64 bit conflict?
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

RMV works fine here, just sayin...

Click the Help button (in the lower left button group) and find the logfile. It might say something about the plug-ins it rejected.

I'm using only 32 bit plugins in T7 32 bit version. Have to dig a little deeper to find out what's wrong with RMV.
Transfuser is having issues with GUI refreshing in other DAWs too. But in Studio One it at least fits on the screen.

I have the same problem. I have just upgraded from T2 to T7, and many plugins that are more than 2-3 years old drop out after some time. Most are usable again, but must be re-registered (it is like T7 makes the computer appear as a different machine to the plugins). It is a pain, in particular since they may work in some sessions and then after a while some more drop out. It is ironic that when opening a project with the same plugins in T2 there are no problems.

I guess this is just the usual hassle of updating software. So I am just happy that I waited 10 years. T2 works excellent for most applications. (The reply from support was friendly and basically confirmed this: I was trying to use old stuff with new machinery so of course it will go south.)

I have an issue with IK Multimedia plugins. Running Tracktion in Administrator mode solves it. See if it helps your case.

Hi

Indeed that helps on a few, thanks, but, e.g., not my IK Multimedia plugins. I have to re-register. Also the original Mackie plugins that came with T2 are dead.

The worst right now, however, is that any change in tempo or time signature in old projects are not carried over from T7. So I will just have to keep using T2 for those.

So at my speed I will probably be ready to use T7 when T12 is released :D

Can you send us an old T2 Edit with tempo and time signature changes in it? I'd like to see where this is failing and if we can fix it.
Thanks.

But you're not going to get 32-bit and 64-bit plugins running in the same version (32bit or 64-bit) of Tracktion unless you jbridge them.

The only recognisably 64-bit plugin there is Waveshell, and its an oldish version.

But did you install 64-bit and 32-bit plugins in the same folder or something?
