Hi
I am quite new to using mulab and think its great, so sure that the problems I am having are lack of understanding.
I sent a file to be mastered, but my engineer says its empty.
I did have one track muted, so un-muted it and deleted the loop instead. After someone suggested this 'could' be why.
My engineer says it could be a session marker problem, the markers are set to cover the entire project/track but the flags at the top of them are grey not yellow, Do they need to be switched to yellow, if so how do you do this ?
As I dont want to keep sending 'Empty' tracks to my engineer and (frustrate the hell out of both of us) could do with some 'hands on' help in general. If anyone lives in Nottingham uk..let me know..(will pay).
Also welcome any remedies on here to fix the problem which is urgent.
many thanks

Lets go step by step. First of all lets assure that Export Composition To Audio File is working well. To do so, open one of the demo projects and go to Project -> Export Composition To Audio File. Then play the rendered file. Is it ok?
If yes, then this proves Export Composition To Audio File is working well and the problem must be some muting/routing issue in your project. It's difficult to tell what exact issue without knowing your project. Posting a screenshot of the main screen (complete composition + rack desk) may help to get a first impression.

Thanks so much for a quick reply..I appreciate it
The file I sent him plays ok on my desk top, but when he imports it... its empty ? is this relevant to understanding the problem ?

Strange situation. What software does he use to play the file? Can he try playing/opening it with other software?
What type of file did you send hem: Aiff 16 bit, Aiff 32 bit, Wav 16 bit or Wav 32 bit?
If it's Aiff 32 bit, try sending him an Wave 32 bit file.
