Two more things I would find fantastic would be to have the oscillators go all the way down to pure sine and have a separate level independent from the noise. This would not only allow to have pure noise, if so desired, but also to have greater control over the ratio. Really, an on/off switch would do the trick there, too.

That would significantly increase the chances for it to blow your ears off and rupture your speakers' membranes, hehehehe!

Listen, I'm just trying to protect all of us here. You have any idea what could happen if you get too crazy with Sinnah? Lives are at stake. This is a beastly synth.Taron wrote:"not too crazy sounding"
Honestly, it's kind of amazing how the very narrow set of features in this little beast almost demand to be too crazy by default!

I think, I'm slowly falling in love with it!
Ah yes, a vibrato (LFO) option could be wonderful. Keep forgetting to mention that.

Hi guys,
all you suggest will come!
Down to sine morphing will be one of the first, I want that too.
But first it must be stable and no hanging notes.
Here is a little update for Windows VST with more sound consistency,
some but not all bugs fixed. (Still suggested to keep the GUI close
when you do intensive parameters automations.)
Simply replace the DLL:
http://nusofting.liqihsynth.com/Sinnah_ ... Update.zip
(for Mac users, next week)
And two drafts for a possible OSC entry:
(stream or right-cick and download)
http://nusofting.liqihsynth.com/Remember_Sinnah.mp3
http://nusofting.liqihsynth.com/sinnah_two_chords.mp3

Uh, these shakers are VERY nice!
...chord rhythm is a bit off-putting. I would gently recommend being as direct or as simple with the gates as possible, keeping them deep in the pocket of the rhythm, you know.
(clapping rhythm
)
Oh, did you notice an issue with repeat 2 and 3? I'm right now having it that it only does a 2 or 3 repeat once or twice and then never again until I hit infinite and then back again. Seems to be a little bug.

Thanks Taron, I know I like weird beats, but I can make it simpler.Taron wrote:Uh, these shakers are VERY nice!...chord rhythm is a bit off-putting. I would gently recommend being as direct or as simple with the gates as possible, keeping them deep in the pocket of the rhythm, you know.

Repeat: yes, 2 and 3 are still buggy.

First bugs fixed and then many many features, step by step in many updates, jasinski wrote:Liqih- what could we expect in an update?
I guess you've read the project plan at Sinnah homepage?

(actually I already need to update the homepage)

Thanks! Zany little synth here. Automating the delay matrix has some serious possibilitiesbjporter wrote:Yeah just make sure its not too crazy sounding.zippy731 wrote:Hey KVR folks.
Question re: the rules: May I use a volume / EQ envelope plugin? FLStudio Love Philter?
Can get some cool percussion / rhythm out of that, but I don't want to run afoul of the rules..

Just because it's insane doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

I'm slowly getting there.
Feel kinda cheating because I use a lot of EQ to shape the final sounds.
