Tracktion 7 x64 loaded and works fine. Is there some reason you can't use a midi controller for biotek?
EDITED/SOLVED: You must have the midi controller at 1.

What do you mean by "use a MIDI controller"?
You can map MIDI CC messages to BioTek plugin parameters in Tracktion directly using Trackiton's MIDI learn feature.

There has to be something stupid I'm doing here.
These are both demos, x64
When I try to play biotek with my main keyboard controller, all the keys move correctly (the ones on biotek) but there is no sound BUT if I use the mouse to hit the keys on the screen, that sounds fine. If I switch the input controller to the trigger finder, it works fine. Every other vst works fine with the nektar hooked up.
Hope that makes sense.

Again.........
Loads fine, if you press the on screen keys with a mouse, it works fine. If you use the trigger finger it's fine. My nektar WILL NOT play notes (either from the pads or keys)
Every other instrument I've tried in the tracktion demo works AS IT SHOULD.
There has a be a reason.

I seen this somewhere now , it has to do with note on and off messages of the midi controller , if your Nektar is working with other instruments in T7 but not Biotek . There is gotta be a setting somewhere either in Biotek or your Nektar controller ... Sorry for poking fun earlier .incubus wrote:

Ok...... Click on your Nektar input the left of your track with Biotek VSTi on it . In the bottom middle of screen you'll see your Nektar Midi input .... I've got allow Midi controller remapping circle marked and also enable input monitoring circle marked .... Do you have " Enable Input Monitoring " circle marked ??? Are you see Midi messages on your input ?

OK, another stupid setting for u to check out , probably in options menu to the bottom left of screen , check to see if the audio engine is enabled when the track is stopped or not recording ... I had this all screwed up the other day on a particular project and wonder if had anything to do with the 7.1 update or just me I like the audio engine ALWAYS running , who knows maybe I unchecked something by mistake .

Have you've ever seen "Sling Blade" with Billy Bob Thorton and he tells the guy that's trying to fix the mower " well is there gas in it ....Sometimes it's complex and sometimes it's right under our noses and then were like WTF ..

I know what you are saying.
In demoing with the trigger finger I believe it's not my cup o' anyways, but I'll wait until this week for the team to chime in...just in case there is something that is being overlooked.
Thanks for the help!

Do you know what channel the Nektar is sending note messages on?
BioTek will only respond to note-on messages on MIDI channel 1.
