Can you describe how you see it working? How would your drive the XY pad?
What would it do over the current Morphing feature?

Well the current morphing feature is for changing complete instances of the plugin.
An X Y pad would be very simply 2 slots for parameters. For example I put, reverb dry/wet and filter cutoff on the X axis and filter resonance and saturation on the Y axis.
It would be touch friendly for live performance. But even with just a mouse it would allow more control and variation than using 2 multiparameters to do the same thing.

I thought about it some time ago... But the space is a problem, it could be available only on the easy screens and there would all kinds of problems with layout really. Not sure...

Would be great to have in MXXX, not necessarily in all plugins, but some could very well benefit from an x/y-pad.

Ok, well easy screen only agreed, there is not enough room in the plugin. But it could also be in the multiparameters pop out window. It makes sense to have it as an extra MP mode especially as more and more people use touch screens.
On that note I'm getting my Microsoft surface pro soon! i5 8 gb ram in a tablet! Looking forward to using draw mode with a pen as its a little tricky with a mouse. Woohoo.
